Russell Yankwitt Accepts Invitation to Join the Highly Regarded American Bar Foundation
Russell Yankwitt has accepted an invitation to join the American Bar Foundation (ABF) as a Fellow. The ABF is one of the world’s leading research institutes for the empirical and interdisciplinary study of law. Fellows comprise a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars, whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction.
An independent, nonprofit organization for nearly 70 years, the ABF seeks to advance the understanding and improvement of law through research projects of unmatched scale and quality on the most pressing issues facing legal systems in the United States and around the world.
Fellows are recommended by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation. Established in 1955, Fellows support the research of the American Bar Foundation through annual contributions and sponsor seminars and events of direct relevance to the legal profession.
